GSCA National Specialty 2001 - Best of Breed Competition Final Awards

Allentown, Pennsylvania
Hosted by the Brandywine Gordon Setter Club

Listed below are the winners of this year's National Specialty.  This was a great National Specialty.  Congratulations to all the winners.  Hope to see you all next year at the specialty in Missouri which will be held October 2, 2002 to October 5, 2002 in St. Louis (Purina Farms).  Enjoy Mrs. Wallis' selections for Best of Breed, Best of Opposite, Best of Winners, Judges' Awards of Merit.

 

  • Ch. Brentwood's BMW of Berridale ("Beamer") was selected as Best of Breed from Veteran Dog Class.  He is owned by Chuck and Pam Krothe (Brentwood-IN).
  • Beamer and his handler, Jeff Arch, during Best of Breed competition.
  • Ch. Tri-Sett Fame 'n' Fortune (Fanny) shown with her handler, Candy Carswell-Voorhis.  Fanny won Best of Opposite Sex to the Best of Breed.
  • Best of Winners, Sandpipers Castles By the Sea, owned by Janice Beattie and Mary A. McLaughlin, DVM.
  • Two of the JAM winners.
  • Ch. Tri-Sett Charlton Chaueffer (Charlie) shown with his handler, Keith Voorhis.   Charlie won a JAM.
  • Ch. Brentwood's Frozen Assets (Profit) who is owned by Chuck and Pam Krothe.  Profit won a Judge's Award of Merit.  Profit is a full sister to the Best of Opposite Winner.
  •  Bred-by Winner, Sassenach Preferred Stock owned by Judith Brown (Sassenach-AB) shown  on the go-round.
  • Another shot of the Best Bred-by Winner.
  • Best Puppy.  Brentwood's Dimpled Chad shown with his handler, Eileen Hackett.  He is owned by Chuck and Pam Krothe (Brentwood-IN).
  • Brace class.  Ch. Black Anvil Diamond in the Ruff (Crystal) and Ch. Glen Oak's All That Jazz, JH (Jazz).  The girls looked lovely together.
  • Vanessa Cappello (Black Anvil-CT) with her two lovely bracemates,  Jazz and Crystal. 
  • The only brace class running together as a team.  Way to go girls!!
